Kim Robertson's early musical training was in classical piano, voice and pedal harp; she studied at the University of Wisconsin and in France. Since discovering the Celtic harp, Kim has pursued a busy career divided between recording, teaching and her greatest love, performing. She tours internationally, recently appearing in Quebec, South America, New Zealand and Europe and throughout the United States, and has played major folk festivals in cities including Edinburgh, Winfield, Milwaukee, and Los Angeles. Tender Shepherd is Kim's seventeenth recording; she is also the author of seven volumes of harp arangements, and has done two instructional videos. Kim is a longtime Gourd artist and can be heard on Oktober County (GM 101), Dream of the Manatee (GM108), A Victorian Christmas (GM 125) and Celtic Crossing.
