Welcome to the world of Gourd Music. We're an independent label
specializing in acoustic music.

With various ensembles of guitar, cello, flute, oboe, harp, fiddle, hammered and mountain dulcimer, banjo, mandolin and more, we create texture and tone color; we've pioneered a sound that's part folk, part classical - and uniquely Gourd's.

Our repertoire ranges from traditional Celtic to old-timey Appalachian; from galliards to jigs; from monasteries to mountain cabins; from courtly measures to rollicking sprees.

Our greatest joy of all at Gourd has been to work in the musical traditions we love in an ongoing celebration of their timeless, living beauty.
